Important Note: The information provided here applies only to OTC Foundation Scholarships. Scholarships not listed within the Scholarship Information Packet are not administered by the OTC Foundation and do not have the same requirements. If you received a scholarship from an external organization, please contact that organization directly for more information regarding their specific scholarship requirements.

What requirements do I need to maintain my scholarship?
To remain in good standing as a scholarship recipient, you must:
- Submit a Thank You card addressed to your scholarship donor for each semester you receive the award.
- Attend the Scholarship Reception in October (required for recipients of full academic year or fall-only awards. Students with a spring single-semester award are not required to attend the Scholarship Reception and will not receive information about the event unless otherwise specified).
Failure to meet these obligations could result in the revocation of your scholarship. Additionally, factors such as GPA, program of study, and course load made you eligible for the scholarship. If your award renews from fall to spring, you must maintain these eligibility criteria to receive the award in the spring semester.
What is an OTC Foundation scholarship?
OTC Foundation Scholarships are funded by private donors and managed by OTC Foundation staff. This distinguishes them from OTC Institutional Scholarships, which are provided directly by OTC and overseen by the Financial Aid department. Both Foundation and Institutional scholarships now share an integrated application process. By completing one application, you will be considered for all eligible scholarships at Ozarks Tech.
Application Deadlines:
- Summer & Fall: December 1 – June 1
- Spring: September 1 – November 1
Note: Scholarships awarded directly by non-OTC individuals or organizations are referred to as “External/Third Party” awards. To verify such awards, please contact Student Account Services.
When will I find out if I have been selected for an award?
Award selections for the summer and fall semesters are announced in July. Award selections for the spring semester are announced in December. Students selected for an OTC Foundation scholarship will be notified by email through their Ozarks Tech email account. Please be sure to check your email often for important communication. Applicants may also check for award offers in the application portal: https://otc.academicworks.com/
Please make sure to review and accept award offers by the deadline mentioned in your award congratulatory email if selected to avoid the award offer being revoked.
When are scholarship Thank You cards due?
Thank You cards must be submitted by the following deadlines:
- Summer 2024 Semester: July 21, 2024
- Fall 2024 Semester: August 22, 2024
- Spring 2025 Semester: January 16, 2025
